I came to document Fashion Beyond Borders as a videographer, capturing the creativity, culture, and people that brought the event to life. During the show at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, LA Fashion Closet presented me with a recognition plaque for my contribution.
I spend most of my time behind the camera telling other people's stories. Being invited into the spotlight myself was an unexpected and meaningful moment in my journey as a photographer and cinematographer.

The run followed a September submission to ELLE Uzbekistan that was declined because the editorial did not align with the publication’s current themes and timing—a rejection that became part of a larger period of editorial growth rather than the end of it.
