Fashion Week Photography Case Study
LA Fashion Closet at Palazzo ViscontiMilan Fashion Week
Runway photography from LA Fashion Closet at Palazzo Visconti during Milan Fashion Week, covering couture, tailoring, bridal, eveningwear, and collection moments.

What I covered
Cover a multi-designer show without losing each collection’s personality.
This show moved through tailoring, sculptural couture, embellished pieces, bridal, eveningwear, and coordinated looks. I photographed each collection on its own terms while keeping the overall set consistent.
Palazzo Visconti is a beautiful room, but the clothes still have to lead. I used the architecture for context without letting it take over the frame.
Selected Frames
Milan Fashion Week · Palazzo Visconti di Modrone · March 1, 2025

Sculptural Monochrome
One of my favorite Milan frames: a strong silhouette, clean contrast, and a full runway-end pose.

Midnight Couture
A clean runway-end pose that shows the full look.

White Tailored Line
Bright tailoring that breaks up the run of gowns and eveningwear.

Embroidered Statement
Pattern, symmetry, and detail all come through clearly in this frame.

Movement at the Runway End
The skirt opens at exactly the right moment in the walk.

Bridal Structure
A softer bridal frame with floral detail and a clear view of the gown.

Collection Entrance
A group frame that shows how the collection works together.

Beaded Evening Line
Color and embellishment close the sequence with a classic eveningwear look.
Keep each collection distinct
Tailoring, embellishment, volume, and bridal all need different framing. I don’t want every collection to look like the same shoot.
Time the movement
The best runway frame is often the instant the walk, posture, and fabric all line up.
Use the venue without letting it take over
The room tells you we’re in Milan, but the model and garment stay first.
